[Pocket-linux] Root Disk Errors

It looks to me that you have not specified your floppy as a device on your 
root disk
use: mknod $PATH_TMP_DISK/dev/fd0 b 2 0

(with of course  mknod $PATH_TMP_DISK is your path where you create your 
temporary system or if you are at chapter 2, mount your root disk and then 
its the path to your mounted floppy)

p.s.
Its not clear to me which chapter you are trying to do.
