Gyuri,

There are a few ways to get around this.  Probably the easiest is to go 
to http://pocket-linux.sourceforge.net and scroll down to "diskette 
images".  You can download an image file for the bootdisk and use it for 
all of the chapters.  Another choice is to use Rick Stocker's GRUB 
instructions, which are linked on the pocket-linux.sourceforge.net site 
under "other projects".  Or you can see if your distro includes a lilo 
package, but just does not install it by default.  I would say that the 
first two options are probably the easiest.
