[pocket-linux] v2.1 Chapter 3 - Unable to open initial console

Hi there!

I know the same problem was discussed here already in April, but
I did not find any solution.

Can anybody tell me what to do ?
I get the following messages:

	VFS: Insert root floppy disk to be loaded into RAM disk and press ENTER
	RAMDISK: Compressed Image found at block 0
	VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem) readonly.
	Freeing unused kernel memory: 72k freed
	Waring unable to open an initial console.
	Kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.

I don't know if I did something wrong with the libraries,
because the output of "ldd bash" is

        linux-gate.so.1 =>  (0xffffe000)
        libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x40022000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/tlc/libc.so.6 (0x40025000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)

and i don't know what to do with linux-gate.so.1

I am working on a SuSE 9.1 system with kernel 2.6
My target is a Celeron Coppermine CPU, and the kernel should be 2.4
