If you visit The Linux Documentation Project's CVS repository at 
http://cvsview.tldp.org/index.cgi/LDP/guide/docbook/Pocket-Linux-Guide/ 
you should be able to see all revisions of all XML files that make up 
the guide.  Unfortunately the revision numbers do not match with the 
guide's version numbers, but at least you can see the various changes 
that have been made to the chapters over time.
