One more thing I forgot. When running grub-install, you're going to
encounter an error. Goto:
http://portal.suse.de/sdb/en/2004/05/fhassel_grub-install_91.html. My
advice: fix the grub-install script and be done with it. ;)

If you are using Suse 9.1, here are my (brief) suggestions (Dealing with
Pocket Linux v.Feb.18.2004)
1. Use Kernel 2.6.8.1. (http://www.kernel.org) Decompress into a seperate
folder in your home documents directory.
Tip 1: run from a module as 'su' (Super User)
Tip 2: Don't use spaces in your folder names. Unfortunaltly, make, gcc,
and probably others have a hard time compiling with foldernames that have a
space in them. Instead, substitute the spaces for the good 'ole underscore
'_'.
2. Section 2.3.2 - Configure support for the following in menuconfig:
- 386 processor
- PC - Compatible
- Floppy Disk Support
- RAM Disk Support (with setting 4096)
- Second extended filesystem (no attributes needed)
- ELF Binaries
Tip 3: You won't Console on Virtual Terminal becuase it is already set by
default.
Tip 4: bash# make dep: Is not neccessary after 2.6.x
3. Skip Section 2.3.4 - 2.3.7 if it talks about installing lilo. Instead
follow the directions for using GRUB found at
http://home.earthlink.net/~r_l_s/Using_GRUB_in_Pocket_Linux.htm
4. For section 2.3.10, follow everything, but substitute this line:
bash#
./configure --enable-static-link --enable-minimal-config --build=i386-pc-lin
ux-gnu
Explaination: Bash 3.0 requires you to use '--build' as opposed to
'--host'

Good Luck (^_^)
