A new version of the GNU/Linux System Architect Toolkit was released
today. Architect can automatically build binary packages from source
code and can be a good way of speeding up the "Construction" phase of
the Pocket Linux Guide. Architect-0.10 is able to build all of the
packages used in version 3.0preview of the Pocket Linux Guide. For
example, just type "architect bash-mini-3.0" to have the
minimally-configured version of BASH 3.0 built for you. This can be
much faster and less error prone than typing all of the shell commands
as listed in the guide.
