Respected Sir,
 
while implementing some basic utilites(chapter 4), i am getting problem with libraries.i hope the problem is with libso.6 and lipthread. 
when i give LS command i am getting the following error: 
 
RELOCATION ERROR:SYMBOL_ERROR,VERSION GLIBC-2.0 NOT DEFINED IN FILE LIBC.SO.6 WITH LINK TIME REFERENCE. 
 
ON MY DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM I AM HAVING THE FOLLOWING VERSIONS 
 
LINUX->REDHAT 9 2.4 
GLIBC->glibc-2.3.2-5 
COREUTILS->5.1 
can anyone suggest me to how to procced ?
