[pocket-linux] UNABLE TO COMPILE KERNEL FOR VIA-C3 Processor on REDHAT 9.

Here i want to compile the kernel on redhat 9 (2.4-20.6) for a thinclient on which the processor is a VIA-c3 800A.
while compailing i am getting the following warnings.

CC1:Warning:-malign -loops is obsolete,use -falign-loops.

actually what can we know from these warnings.

on my development system i am having 686 processor.on host machine booting has no problem.

while configaration i am selecting processor as CYRIXIII / VIA-C3 / VIA-C5

actually i am booting through usb floopy drive in my thinclient,

it is giving the status of the registers and stack & finally  as

 <0> kernel panic:Attempted to kill the idle task.
       in idle Task not syncing.
hope i explained clearlly.
i wil l wait for ur response.
